JENN LEE Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled “Echoes of Youth,” is a journey into the playful essence of childhood nostalgia. Presented at London Fashion Week, the collection beautifully blends retro aesthetics with a rebellious, youthful spirit, offering a fresh take on deconstructed fashion.
Jenn Lee’s design process is spontaneous and intuitive, driven by physically crumpling paper to create organic silhouettes. The resulting pieces reflect a sense of freedom, with folds, exposed seams, and playful geometric forms evoking memories of carefree creativity. Styled by Callum Smith, the collection retains Lee’s signature deconstructed aesthetic while incorporating whimsical details such as heart-shaped zippers, adding a layer of sentimentality and dynamic fluidity to the structured pieces.
The accessories in the collection are especially noteworthy, capturing the emotional weight of forgotten treasures—small everyday objects symbolizing cherished memories. This theme of nostalgia is mirrored in the collaboration with ATELIER MOWA, a French Luneville embroidery artist. Together, they crafted intricate 3D headpieces inspired by Chinese calligraphy, where Lee’s punk aesthetic intertwines with traditional haute couture techniques, resulting in expressive, boundary-pushing pieces.
